How to clear the Browser Cache in Internet Explorer
=- |
| If you are having problems with the way
some websites appear, or if the web seems unusually slow,
the problem may be with the browser cache. A browser cache
is a storage area on your computer where the browser saves
bits and pieces of web pages. It does this so that if
you visit the page again it will load faster. Your browser
is designed to periodically clear out this cache, but
sometimes it doesn't always clear properly and it can
cause slowness or inconsistencies in the web pages. Follow
the steps below to clear the cache on your browser. |
- Open Internet Explorer.
- From the Tools menu, choose Internet Options.
- Click the Delete Files button.
- Check the box next to Delete all offline content.
- Click the OK button.
- Click the OK button.

- Congratulations! You have successfully cleared the
browser cache in Internet Explorer 6.0.
